SAAC Election Results for 2026-27

The De Anza College Student-Athlete Advisory Council ended its final meeting of the academic year today - highlighted by its annual executive officer elections.

SAAC representatives elected Erika Correa (swimming & diving) as president, Danika Rocha (badminton) as vice president, and Tara Sarhangnejad (volleyball) as secretary.

The vacant treasurer position will be appointed after the 2026 spring quarter.

SAAC's commissioner positions will also be filled, as returning and incoming student-athletes have the opportunity to join the 2026-27 council.

Correa recently completed a record-breaking freshman season and Rocha was part of the 2026 state champion badminton team. Sarhangnejad will be a first-year member of the Lions' volleyball team.

Current SAAC leaders will host the annual Academic & Athletic Achievement Awards on June 11.
