De Anza Volleyball Unveils Challenging 2026 Schedule

The De Anza College volleyball program has announced its 2026 schedule, featuring an ambitious slate of tournament play, multiple doubleheaders, Coast Conference competition, and postseason aspirations as the Mountain Lions prepare for another exciting season.

The 2026 campaign officially begins on Saturday, August 29, when De Anza travels to American River College for a season-opening doubleheader.

The Lions will face defending state-champion Feather River College at 1:00 p.m. before taking on host American River College at 3:00 p.m. The opening weekend sets the tone for a preseason filled with competitive matchups against programs from across Northern California.

Throughout September, De Anza will compete in several multi-match events, giving the Lions valuable opportunities to build chemistry and test themselves against a diverse group of opponents before conference play begins.

The 2026 schedule features eight doubleheader dates, including:

• Aug. 29 – Feather River College & American River College (American River College)
• Sept. 4 – Cosumnes River College & Siskiyous College (College of the Siskiyous)
• Sept. 9 – Coalinga College & Cuesta College (Coalinga College)
• Sept. 11 – Modesto College & Folsom Lake College (Modesto College)
• Sept. 16 – Solano College • Bay Valley champion & Los Medanos College (Solano College)
• Sept. 18 – Skyline College & Shasta College (De Anza College)
• Sept. 23 – Contra Costa College and an additional opponent (De Anza College)
• Sept. 25 – San Joaquin Delta College • Bay Valley champion & Taft College • Central Valley-South champion (Delta College)

De Anza fans will have their first opportunity to see the Lions at home on Wednesday, September 2, when De Anza hosts Butte College at 4:00 p.m.

The home schedule continues with a pair of matches on September 18, as the Mountain Lions welcome Skyline College and Shasta College for another exciting day of volleyball in Cupertino.

Following a rigorous non-conference schedule, De Anza begins its Coast Conference campaign on Wednesday, October 14, traveling to face Ohlone College in the conference opener.

The Mountain Lions will then continue league play with home-and-home series against Ohlone College, Gavilan College, College of San Mateo, and Monterey Peninsula College as they compete for conference positioning and a berth in the 3C2A postseason.

The conference schedule also includes a pair of Coast Conference crossover contests, beginning with a road match at Cabrillo College on September 30, followed by a home matchup against Skyline College on October 7.

The regular season concludes on Wednesday, November 11, before the Lions turn their attention toward a potential postseason bid.

The 3C2A Northern California Regional Playoffs begin on November 21, with subsequent rounds scheduled for November 24 and November 28.

Teams advancing through regional competition will earn a berth in the 2026 3C2A State Championship Tournament, hosted by Mt. San Antonio College beginning December 4.
