Bio
Since taking over as defensive coordinator in 2022, Jerome Lee has transformed De Anza’s defense into one of the most physical units in California community college football.
In 2024, the defense led the PAC-7 League in takeaways and red zone stops, with standouts safety Zay Johnson and Dre Greeley (Eastern Washington University) earning All-State honors.
Lee previously coached at the high school level and brings an analytical, aggressive style to the defense.
