Lions Look To Clinch Outright Title
The De Anza College football team can complete several goals with a home victory against Cabrillo College on Saturday.
The Lions can clinch the Golden Coast League championship, secure home-field advantage in the upcoming American Division title game, and record consecutive 10-0 regular seasons.
Another victory will also likely improve the team's state (No. 17) and national (No. 31) rankings.
The Lions (9-0 overall) enter the game with a 4-0 mark in the GCL, while Cabrillo stands at 2-7 on the year and 1-3 in league play.
"Everything is still in front of us," De Anza College head coach Joe D'Agostino said.
"Our approach to '1-0 this week' continues and we have another opponent preparing to knock us off the top."
Saturday at The Lions Den is also Sophomore Day. The game will be available via live stream at: https://www.youtube.com/live/Kqk0ZOVUFCw
